【句式解讀】句中It is...that...結構是強調句型強調狀語for this reason,that在句中沒有實際意義,只起連接作用。

【用法總結】當需要強調句中的主詞、賓語、狀語時,常用「It is/was+被強調部分+that/who...」句型,被強調的部分放在前面,其他部分置於that之後。

(1)基本結構:It is/was+被強調部分+that/who...

①It was about 600 years ago that the first clock with a face and an hour hand was made.大約600年前,世界上第一個有錶盤和時針的鐘被製造出來。

(2)一般疑問句結構:Is/Was it+被強調部分+that/who...?

②Is it a new bike that his brother wants to buy?

(3)特殊疑問句結構:特殊疑問詞+is/was it+that...?

③When was it that you called me yesterday?

你昨天打電話給我到底是什麼時候?

[名師提醒] (1)當被強調部分指人時,可用that或who;指物或時間、地點、原因等時,只能用that。

(2)被強調的部分是主詞時,注意謂詞動詞應與被強調的主詞一致。
