形式 內在意義
doing 與句中主詞構成邏輯上的主謂關係，與句中謂語動作同時發生，或幾乎同時發生
having done 與句中主詞構成邏輯上的主謂關係，先於謂詞動作發生
◆Reading carefully, he found something he hadn’t known before.
仔細閱讀時，他發現了一些他以前不知道的東西。

2．現在分詞作狀語的語法功能
(1)作時間狀語
◆When walking down(＝When I was walking down) the street, I came across David.
沿街散步時，我偶然遇到了大衛。
◆When chatting with her(＝When I was chatting with her), I found she had a gift for art.
聊天時，我發現她很有藝術天份。
(2)作原因狀語
◆Respecting his father(＝Because he respected his father), he didn’t want to argue with him.

◆Not knowing her address(＝As I don’t know her address), I had better telephone her to come over.
由於不知道她的地址，我還是打電話叫她過來為好。
(3)作條件狀語

◆Going straight down the road(＝If you go straight down the road), you will find the canteen.

文體感知
影評就是觀眾在看完電影後的所感所想。從體裁來看，影評屬於夾敘夾議的議論文。這種文體主要是以一般現在式介紹劇情內容並就自己感興趣的地方發表觀點。影評要求評論者就影片特色進行評論，敘議結合，以分析、討論為主。
影評一般可分為三部分：
第一部分：簡介背景。對電影名稱、導演等作簡單介紹。 (此部分可以省略)
第二部分：簡述情節。包括主演及影片內容概要。影片概述只需要敘述大概情節，最主要的是分析人物和情節，重點放在自己要評論的內容。
第三部分：發表評論。就影片中自己感興趣且有價值的故事情節發表觀點，可選擇性地就電影的結構、節奏、演員角色等方面展開評論，最後還可對電影進行總體評價。
