Danny, Jenny and Brian are decorating the art classroom. Danny: Look at this yellow star, Brian and Jenny! Isn't it beautiful？ ❸ I'm going to hang❹ it from the ceiling over the desk.

Brian: Let me get the ladder for you.

Danny: I don't need a ladder. I think I'm tall enough❺.

(Danny can't reach the ceiling, so he climbs onto Mr. Jones' chair.)

知識點1

careful /'keəfl/adj.小心的；仔細的

eg：John was careful not to say anything about this to her.

約翰小心翼翼，沒有向她提及任何有關此事的事。

careful是名詞care的形容詞形式，常用於be careful結構。當be careful單獨使用時，意為“小心”，相當於look out或take care。

eg：Be careful! There's a car coming here.

小心！有一輛小汽車開過來了。

careful常和介詞of，about，with搭配使用，意為「當心；留意；仔細」。

eg：You must be careful of/about your pronunciation.

你必須注意你的發音。

Be careful with that vase.

小心那個花瓶。

be careful in doing sth. 表示「做某事時要小心或仔細」。

eg：Be careful in crossing the road.

過馬路時要小心。

be careful to do sth. 表示「注意/小心/謹慎做某事」。
