辨析beside和near

beside指的是一物緊靠另一物，之間沒有距離；near指的是兩物之間的距離很近，但還有一定的距離。

eg：She is standing beside the table.

她正站在桌子旁邊。 (她與桌子之間不再有其他物體)

front/frʌnt/ n．正面；前面

eg：There is a big tree in front of the house.

這房子前面有一棵大樹。

辨析in front of 和 in the front of

在 front of “在…的前面”，強調一個物體在另一個物體外部的前面。 in the front of “在…的前部/端”，強調一個物體在另一個物體內部的前面。

under/'ʌndə(r)/ prep.在…下面

辨析under與below

under

指在某物的正下方，有垂直在下的意思。

反義詞是over

below

指位於某物的下方，但不一定是在正下方。也可指數量、等級、程度等「在…以下」。

反義詞是above

eg：The dog is under the desk. 狗在桌子下面。

The bird is flying below the clouds.

鳥在雲層下飛翔。
