How long have you had that bike over there?

1、How long 的用法

How long “多久” 用來問多久也可問 某物 有多長

複習：

How soon 「多久之後」多與一般未來式連用

How far 「多遠」用來詢問距離，指路程的遠近

how often 它是對錶示頻度的時間狀語的提問表示“多久（一次）”

2、How 長 have you had it ?

回答方式有兩種：

-I've had it for two years.

-I had it since my fourth birthday.

考點講解：

1、辨析 how long how soon how often how far

how long , 多久，多長。對時段提問，常用「for+一段時間」或「since +時間點」 「since+時段+ago" "since +子句」來回答

how soon, 多久以後，對「in+時段」的提問，長用於一般將來式的句子中。其答語常用「in+時段」。

how often,多久一次，對頻率提問，其答語常為once (twice/ ...) +時間段，always 等。

how far , 多遠，對距離提問。其答語是表示距離的內容。

2、Jeff's family is having a yard sale.

family 為集合名詞，意為「家庭，親屬」。表示整體時，用作單數，謂語動詞用單數；表示家庭成員時，用作複數，謂語動詞用複數。

eg: His family is going to move.

My family are very well.

have a yard sale 意為“舉行庭院拍賣會”， 其中sale為名詞， 意為“出售，銷售", 常與介詞on或for 連用，構成短語:

on sale “出售，上市”

for sale “ 代售，供出售”

3、Amy thinks it's hard to sell her old things.

It's +adj. for sb. to do sth.

“(對某人來說）做某事是........的”

it 作形式主語，真正的主詞是後面的動詞不定詞片語。因動詞不定式片語作主詞較長，而謂詞部分相對較短，it 代替後就避免了頭重腳輕的現象。其中sb.是動詞不定詞to do 的邏輯主詞。

4、memory

名詞， 意為」記憶，回想「。

複數形式：memories

動詞形式：memorize

eg: She has a good memory.

This photo album has given many memories of my school days.
