1. I’ll take four, please.

take在本句中意思是“买……”，相当于“buy”，

在口语中很常用，也可以用“get”来表达。

例：This yellow dress is very beautiful.I’ll buy /take /get it.

这件黄色的连衣裙非常漂亮，我就买它。

2. Do you have any other things for sale?

for sale是“出售，待售”的意思。

例：This house is for sale.

这套房子待售。

on sale是“廉价出售，上市”的意思。

例：The style of furniture is not on sale in this shop.

这款家具没有在这家店出售。

3. What is it for?

for表示“（用途，意图，目标，愿望）对，供，适用于……”。此句相当于：What is it used for?

例：What is the pen for / used for?

笔是用来做什么的？

It is for writing / used for writing.

它是用来写字的。

4. You can do your homework while you ride your bike.

while是连词，引导时间状语从句，意思是“当……的时候，与……同时”。

例：My mother was washing clothes while my father was watching TV.我妈妈在洗衣服的时候，我爸爸正在看电视。

while还可以作名词，意思是“一会儿，一段时间”。例：Can I rest for a while? 我能休息一会儿吗？
