On my way to school this morning，I saw some winter jasmine blossoming. Here，people believe the blossom of this flower always tells the coming of spring，so we call winter jasmine “the welcoming­spring flower”．

The days are getting longer and the sun rises earlier in the morning. The warm sunshine feels good after the cold winter days. Every morning，I see lots of people exercising❷ in the park. Some practice Tai Chi. Others❸ sing and dance. Children run around or play on the swings.

考向一【难点】辨析neither. . . nor. . . , both. . . and. . . , not only. . . but also. . . ，either. . . or. . .

neither. . . nor. . . 既不……也不……

连接两个并列的主语时，谓语动词的单复数形式和邻近的主语保持一致。

Neither he nor I am well­educated. 他和我都没受过良好教育。

both. . . and. . . ……

和……(两者)都

连接两个并列的主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。

Both you and he are wrong. 你和他都错了。

not only. . . but also. . . 不仅……而且……

连接两个并列的主语时，谓语动词的数应与邻近的主语保持一致。

Not only you but also I am wrong. 不仅你错了，而且我也错了。

either. . . or. . . 或者……或者……

作主语时，谓语动词的数与离得最近的主语保持一致。

Either you or he is wrong. 不是你错就是他错了。

see sb. doing sth. 看见某人正在做某事

eg：When I opened the door, I saw him lying on the floor.

当我打开门时，看见他正躺在地板上。

When I walked past the park, I saw some old people ________ Chinese Taiji. (莱芜)

【点拨】采用逻辑推理法。由句意中“当我经过公园的时候”可知：看见某人正在做某事，故用see sb. doing sth. 结构。
