The zipline is an original tool for crossing rivers. It uses two or one rope and is tied to trees or other fixed objects on both sides of the river. About the Author

Acheng, formerly known as Zhong Acheng, was born in Beijing in 1949. He is a writer and screenwriter.

In 1984, he published his first short story "The King of Chess". In 1985, he served as the screenwriter of the movie "Big Star", thus starting his screenwriting career. In 1996, he was nominated for the Best Screenplay Award at the 7th Golden Rooster Award for his movie "Furong Town". In 2015, he served as the screenwriter for the film "Assassin Nie Yinniang", which was shortlisted for the Best Adapted Screenplay Award at the 52nd Golden Horse Awards. In 2016, the collection of works "Collected Works of Acheng" was published.

1. At the beginning of the novel, a lot of space is used to describe the natural environment. Find these sentences and understand why the author arranged them this way.

(1) The technique of setting off is used. Through "I" looking from a distance, I feel that the Nu River is "as deep as a trickle" and "my heart suddenly trembles" when looking down at the bottom of the river, highlighting the precipitous momentum of the canyon.
