The writing task of this unit is to write a poster. A poster is a notice that announces some kind of news to the public. Posters are mostly in the form of recruitment advertisements, event promotions and character introductions. The content of English posters often includes football news, film news, business reports, exhibitions, seminars, special lectures, etc.

1. Basic structure

Posters generally consist of three parts: title, text and signature.

1. Title: Write the word "POSTER" in the middle of the first line, and then write the specific name of the activity or the content of the activity under "POSTER" on the second line. Such as: An exciting football match.

2. Text: In the third line, write the text in the 4-letter space, which is one paragraph. The text of the poster requires the following content to be written clearly: first, the purpose and significance of the activity; second, the main items, time, location, etc. of the activity; third, the specific methods of participation and some necessary precautions.

3. Signing: It is required to write the name of the organizer and the date of publication of the poster.

2. Precautions

1. Tense: Use simple future tense and present simple tense.

2. Language: The poster text should be concise and clear, and the length should be short and concise. You can use some encouraging words in the article, but don't exaggerate.

3. Requirements: The poster must clearly and truly state the time, location, main content, participation regulations and organizer of the event.
