What Could Be Wrong? PPT, part three: interpretation of teaching materials
1.We used to study and play together,

◆used to means "often in the past", and is followed by the verb base form. It can be used after various persons, and its negative and interrogative forms have two forms:
Negative: used not to + verb base form
didn’t use to + verb base form
Interrogative sentence: Used+subject+to+verb base form+…?
Did+subject+use to+verb base form+…?
[Expansion] (1) be used to means "accustomed to", followed by nouns, pronouns, and gerunds as preposition objects, and has various tense changes. Used can be modified with quite. If the process from unaccustomed to accustomed is emphasized, get or become are often used instead of be.
(2) be used to do sth. It is a passive structure, meaning "to be used to do something".
◆ever since means "from then until today, and ever since".
