Two poems from "Rain Alley" PPT (second lesson)
Part One: Poets of Rain Alley
When Dai Wangshu entered Shanghai Aurora University in 1925, he came into contact with many revolutionary figures. During the Great Revolution (1926), he joined the Communist Youth League. He was arrested in February 1927, and was wanted again after being released on bail. He took refuge in Hangzhou successively. With Matsue. "Rain Lane" was written when the Great Revolution failed. The reality at that time was: revolutionaries were killed, progressives were humiliated, the streets were filled with wolves and dogs, and there was darkness.
After "Rain Alley", Dai Wangshu wrote "Broken Finger" and "My Memories" successively to commemorate the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the Great Revolution. In 1941, Dai Wangshu was imprisoned by the Japanese invaders and wrote "Inscriptions on the Wall in Prison", an article on national righteousness.
