In a plane, a figure is rotated by an angle around a fixed point in a certain direction. This movement of the figure is called rotation. The fixed point becomes the center of rotation, and the angle of rotation is called the rotation angle. Rotation does not change the size and shape of the figure.

Basic properties of rotation
