Prisoner of Ants PPT, Part 3: Detailed explanation of the text

First reading text:

1. Read the text aloud freely, read the pronunciation of the characters correctly, and read the sentences thoroughly.

2. Look at what is written in the text?

(Hint: Organize the language around these questions: Why do I and my sister want to raise ants? How many times have we raised ants? What was the result?)

"I" and my sister wanted to raise ants because

1. He believes that animals can be raised by humans. 2. He is particularly fond of ants.

The first time I put an ant in a glass bottle, the ant died. The second time he put the ants into the matchbox, but all the ants escaped.

The process of capturing ants for the first time:

Read paragraphs 2-4 of the text silently and see which words and sentences you can strongly feel that the ants are "imprisoned"? Sketch as you read.

Find a glass medicine bottle with a lid, and then catch the ants into the bottle. We caught a total of 15 ants, and then tighten the lid.

My sister and I observed the activities of the ants in the bottle with great interest. We saw them shaking the two tentacles above their heads and hurriedly walking up and down in the bottle, as if they were looking for something. I thought they were probably hungry, so I unscrewed the bottle cap and put in some rice grains, but they were not interested and continued to run around in the bottle in panic. They must be shouting loudly in their language.

The process of imprisoning ants for the second time:

How did "me" and my sister do it? Find the sentences in the text that reflect what we did for the little ants and mark them.

I found a matchbox and prepared to make a new home for the ants. Afraid that they would suffocate to death again, I ordered my sister to use pins to poke some small holes in the matchbox for ventilation.

From this we can feel the little brothers and sisters:

Innocent and cute, they have wonderful expectations for the ants

Combining the content of the text and the reality of life, would you like to talk about your understanding of the sentence "Nothing is more valuable than a free life"?

Freedom is a kind of nature. Perhaps the highest state of coexistence between humans and animals is not to disturb, not to interfere, to care silently, and to respect them sincerely!

Prisoner Ant PPT, Part 4: Summary of the theme

The text narrates a childhood story of the reporter in vivid and childlike language: When I was a child, I thought that all animals in the world could be raised by humans. Because I loved ants, I started trying to raise ants. Unexpectedly, the reporter started raising ants. One feeding resulted in the death of the ants, and the second feeding ended with all the ants escaping, which prompted the author to understand the truth of "freedom is precious".

spiritual enlightenment

"If you think back, everyone did some stupid things when they were children. This is not surprising, because when children were naive, they often regarded fantasies as reality. Doing stupid things does not necessarily mean you are stupid. The difference between smart people and stupid people is "Smart people will correct themselves after doing stupid things and learn some truth from them, while stupid people will make mistakes again and again and continue to make mistakes forever."
