Qi Jun (1917-2006), a contemporary Taiwanese female writer and prose master. His original name is Pan Xizhen, a native of Wenzhou, Zhejiang. He has written more than 40 collections of essays, novels and children's literature, including "Smoke Sorrow", "Midnight Dream Book as a Pillow", "Osmanthus Rain", "Flowers Falling in the Drizzle", "Reading and Life", "Thousands of Miles Away with Love" and "The Moon Is Here" "Peak", "Ride with Me", "Leave Dream Traces for Other Years", "Qi Jun Sends Little Readers", "Qin Xin", "Sorrow in July", etc. She is also the original author of the famous TV series "Oranges Are Red".

Osmanthus fragrans: also known as Oleaceae, Oleaceae. Small evergreen tree, up to 15m tall, with oval crown. Leaves are opposite, leathery, elliptical to ovate-elliptic, entire or sparsely toothed. The flowers are clustered in leaf axils or terminal cymes, yellow or white, extremely fragrant, and bloom in mid-autumn. The drupe is oval, blue-purple, and matures in early summer of the following year. It is native to southwest and central China and is now widely cultivated in various places. There are many varieties, including golden osmanthus, silver osmanthus and four seasons osmanthus. It is a traditional precious fragrant flower and an important tree species for urban greening and beautification. After candied, sweet-scented osmanthus can be used to make various sweets.
