Qu Yuan (approximately 340 BC - approximately 278 BC), the earliest great poet in my country, and the first romantic poet in the history of our country. About the Author

Guo Moruo (1892.11─1978.6) was originally named Guo Kaizhen, and his pen name was Moruo (taken from his hometown of Moshui - Dadu River, Ruoshui - Yahe). He is my country's great proletarian writer, historian, famous social activist, paleographer, and another literary master after Lu Xun. His works include the collection of poems "Goddess".

After the Wannan Incident in 1941, he wrote six historical dramas including "Flower of Tangdi", "Qu Yuan", "Tiger Fu", "Gao Jianli", "Peacock Gale" and "Nanguan Grass". "Qu Yuan" is one of his representative works. It borrows ancient metaphors from the present and points the finger at the Kuomintang reactionaries.
