Description
"Mountain Travel" PPT courseware download
The first part: exciting introduction
Autumn is a song, autumn is a painting. Throughout the ages, many literati have sung autumn, praised autumn scenery, and described autumn. Du Mu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, walked in the mountains and wrote about the autumn scenery that caught his eye, showing us a charming picture of autumn colors in the mountains and forests. Today we will study this poem.
"Mountain Walk" is about walking in the mountains. This poem describes the scenery that the poet Du Mu saw while walking in the mountains.
Du Mu (803 AD - 852 AD), also known as Muzhi and Fanchuan Jushi, was an outstanding poet and essayist in the late Tang Dynasty. He was especially famous for his seven-character quatrains. Later generations called him "Xiao Du" to distinguish him from Du Fu and to be combined with Li Shangyin. He was called "Xiao Li Du". Because he lived in Fanchuan Villa in South Chang'an in his later years, he was called "Du Fanchuan" by later generations. He is the author of "Jiang Nanchun", "Porting Qinhuai", "Passing through Huaqing Palace", "Afang Palace Fu", etc. Among them, "Afang Palace Fu" has been passed down to future generations.

Shanxing PPT, the third part: understanding the meaning of words
①Mountain walking: walking in the mountains.
②Hanshan: Mountain in late autumn.
③ Path: small road.
④Sit: because, because.
⑤Yu: than.
⑥生: means "give birth to".
⑦Red in: Redder than....
⑧Late: Night, usually refers to the evening when the sun sets.
⑨Car: sedan.
Shanxing PPT, Part 4: Insights from Intensive Reading
The main idea of the poem: In late autumn, I was walking along the winding mountain road in the mountains, and I could vaguely see several families in the cloud-shrouded place. I couldn't help but pull over because the beautiful scenery of the maple forest in the evening really attracted me. The frost-beaten maple leaves were redder than the flowers in February.
The first sentence: "Far up the cold mountain, the stone path is slanted":
From bottom to top, a stone path winds and stretches toward the autumn-filled mountains.
Understand the functions of "cold", "yuan" and "slant" in poems:
The word "cold" indicates the late autumn season;
The word "far" expresses the length of the mountain road;
The word "Xie" echoes the word "Yuan" at the beginning of the sentence, describing the high and gentle mountain.
Since the slope is not steep, you can travel around the mountain by car.
The word "late" in this sentence is used extremely delicately, and it contains multiple meanings:
① Point out that the first two sentences are what you see during the day, and the last two sentences are what you see in the evening.
② Because there is sunset only in the evening, the gorgeous sunset glow and the red maple leaves complement each other, making the maple forest particularly beautiful.
③The poet lingered so much that in the evening, he was still reluctant to board the car and leave, which shows that he loves the red leaves very much.
④Because I parked the car for a long time and observed the details, I was able to understand the fourth and interesting aphorism, "Frost leaves are as red as February flowers."
