Description
"Mi Fu Xue Shu" PPT courseware
Introduction to Mi Fu (fú)
Mi Fu (1051-1107), named Yuanzhang, also known as Xiangyang Jushi. His ancestral home is Shanxi and he moved to Xiangyang (now part of Hubei). Legend has it that he has a weird personality, likes to wear Tang Dynasty clothes, is obsessed with cleanliness, calls stones "brother" when he encounters them, and worships him endlessly. Therefore, it is called "Midian". In calligraphy, he is one of the "Four Masters of Song Dynasty" (Su, Mi, Huang, and Cai). His calligraphy fonts are free and unrestrained, yet strict with the law; on the other hand, he created the "Mijia Mountain" method in landscape painting, and is good at using "blurred" brushwork to paint the misty Jiangnan scenery.
Private school pondering tips

Inexplicable, dumbfounded
Reluctant to leave and burst out of the eyes

Not in vain: not in vain, not in vain.

Read the text silently and talk about what the text says?
Mi Fu learned to write from a private school teacher, but made little progress. Unwilling to give up, he learned to write from a scholar. The scholar showed Mi Fu the secret of writing with good intentions, and eventually he became a famous painter and calligrapher.
Compare and understand, learn tips
Mi Fu learned writing from two teachers one after another. How did each of them perform? How are the results different? Please use "——" to draw relevant sentences from the text, read them and compare them.
1. Learn from a private school teacher: "Mi Fu has been learning calligraphy for three years and has written on countless sheets of paper, but his handwriting is still mediocre."
2. Learn from the scholar: "Mi Fu took a piece of paper bought for fifty taels of silver. He looked left and right and thought it was just an ordinary piece of paper. But he no longer dared to write easily, and just carefully pondered the copybook. , drawing back and forth on the book desk with his hands, thinking about the spacing and strokes of each word. After pondering and pondering, he became fascinated and printed the words on the copybook into his mind one by one. "Mi Fu wrote the word "Yong", which is exactly the same as the word on the copybook, so it's beautiful."
Understand the intentions, understand and enlighten the wisdom
1. The scholar asked Mi Fu to buy him a piece of paper for fifty taels of silver as a condition for teaching Mi Fu how to write. Was he deliberately trying to embarrass Mi Fu? Do you want to get paid for it?
2. Students discuss freely, combine relevant sentences in the article, and understand the scholar’s good intentions.
I still have questions
1. Why didn’t the scholar directly tell Mi Fu the secret to learning calligraphy?
2. Mi Fu became a famous painter and calligrapher. Why did he still keep five taels of silver on his desk?
Collaborate to explore and exchange results
1. After studying this text, we know that Mi Fu was a child who practiced calligraphy hard when he was a child, so he could achieve such great achievements when he grew up. So what else have you gained?
2. Re-read a passage about calligraphy tips mentioned by the scholar, and exchange views and understanding of what the scholar said.
Class summary:
Not only does writing need to be understood in order to write well, in fact, no matter what you do, once you do it, you should treat it carefully, so that you can do it well. I hope everyone can remember Mi Fu’s story of learning books and treat everything they do with care.
