1. marry

marry sb. means "to marry someone"

get / be married to sb. means "to marry someone"

eg: When did you get married?

Ready means "prepared; ready; prepared" and is used as an predicative.

Often used in be / get ready for sth. and be ready to do sth..

be ready for sth. means "someone is ready for something."
