Du Fu (AD 712-AD 770), Han nationality, was born in Gong County, Henan Province (now Gongyi City). Zimei, also known as Shaoling Yelao, Du Shaoling, Du Gongbu, etc., is a great poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, known as the "Sage of Poetry" in the world, a realist poet, known as Du Gongbu and Du Shiyi in the world, and his representative work is "Three Officials" ("Xin'an"). Officials", "Shihao Officials", "Tongguan Officials") and "Three Farewells" ("Newlywed Farewell", "Elderly Farewell" and "Homeless Farewell"). The grandson of Du Shenyi, a poet in the early Tang Dynasty. He cared about the country and the people, had a noble personality, wrote more than 1,500 poems in his life, and had superb poetic skills. He was honored as the "Sage of Poetry" by later generations. Du Fu and Li Bai were collectively called "Li Du". Du Fu and Li Bai are also collectively known as "Big Li Du", and Du Fu is also often called "Old Du".
In 761 (the second year of the reign of Emperor Suzong of the Tang Dynasty), the poet Du Fu lived in Chengdu, Sichuan after experiencing chaos. He built a thatched cottage on the bank of Huanhua Creek in the western suburbs. He temporarily had a place to stay and felt relatively comfortable. In spring, when the flowers were blooming, he walked alone by the river to enjoy the flowers, and wrote a set of seven quatrains called "Walking Alone by the River Looking for Flowers."
Appreciation of ancient poems
This is a unique and interesting poem describing a scene. The path is full of flowers, and the branches covered with flowers are hung down. Above the petals are lingering colorful butterflies, which dance around the flower branches. From here, we smell the strong fragrance of flowers. On the path beside the flowers, there are orioles singing crisply. Their lively and comfortable demeanor gives people a relaxed and happy feeling. The poet uses extremely rhythmic words such as "Shishi" and "Chacha" to make the whole bright and complicated picture full of movement, and also makes the poem have a brighter and more fluent rhythm. The whole poem is full of colloquial language. It feels very intimate to read, and the heartfelt joy the poet feels in spring comes to mind on the page.
central idea
It expresses the author's thoughts and feelings of praising spring and yearning for a peaceful life.
