Let’s all perform a PPT, the third part: communication methods

1. Choose a textbook drama.

Everyone can express their opinions, select the texts they like from the texts they have learned, exchange views and opinions with each other, and finally choose the texts that everyone is interested in as the textbook play for performance. The selected articles should have a storyline and educational significance.

2. Adaptation cannot deviate from the theme.

After determining the textbook play, we need to adapt the story content according to the needs of the performance. Adaptation cannot be divorced from the theme of the text. The lines, actions, and expressions of the characters should be designed to match the identity and personality of the characters, making the stage characters more vivid.

3. Rehearse the performance.

Everyone can audition first, determine the performance role and divide the lines based on mutual respect. During rehearsal, you can also make some simple props, match them with music, and work together to perform the textbook play wonderfully.

4. Comment on who is the best.

Each group goes on stage to perform a well-rehearsed textbook play. Everyone reviews and selects the outstanding group.

Host: The textbook drama performance activities not only allow us to enter the textbooks, but also allow us to show ourselves on the stage. Next, each group is asked to talk about how to perform the textbook drama well.

Group A: We are going to perform the story "Borrowing Arrows from a Straw Boat". In order to perform well, we have repeatedly thought about the characters in the story, made appropriate modifications to the content of the story, and designed lines that fit the characters' personality characteristics. For example: after the straw man on the boat was filled with arrows, Zhuge Liang shouted: "Stop beating the drums. Send the order! Turn the boat in another direction!" This shows Zhuge Liang's confident general demeanor.

Group B: When we write the script, our lines, actions, and expressions try to match the characters’ personality traits. For example, "Zhuge Liang: (smiled and said) How dare you joke with the governor? (Sternly) I am willing to issue a military order. If I can't build it in three days, I am willing to be punished." The script hinted at the change in Zhuge Liang's expression.

Group C: When we rehearse, we divide the roles, remember our lines, and use simple props—character costumes, feather fans, etc.
