★ Composition:

① Add 's at the end of a singular noun to form the possessive case of the noun, indicating "...".

Usage of possessive noun pronouns

Pronouns that express ownership relationships are called possessive pronouns, which can also be called possessive pronouns. It can be divided into two types: noun possessive pronouns and adjective possessive pronouns. Please see the table below:

Noun possessive pronouns function as nouns. In order to avoid repeated use of nouns, we often use noun possessive pronouns instead of the "adjective possessive pronoun + noun" form. like:

Summary

1. Most adjective possessive pronouns are formed by adding “s” at the end to form a noun possessive pronoun. There are three special cases:

3. When a nominal possessive pronoun is used as the subject, if the meaning is singular, the following verb be is used; if the meaning is plural, the verb be is used are.
