Part One: Writing Guidance

1. Keep the topic consistent.

The meanings between the sentences are coherent, so it does not feel confusing when reading.

2. Have a reasonable order.

For example: "The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. The lake water ripples all the way to the feet, but then slowly retreats. Small fish and naughty shrimps swim in front of you. Like. Like a loving mother patting a sleeping baby, it gently patted the stone bank." Although each sentence in this passage revolves around the topic of "surrounding scenery", because the order of the sentences is unreasonable, it reads the same. It feels incoherent. The order of the third and fourth sentences should be reversed, so that the "it" in the fourth sentence can refer to the "lake" and the entire paragraph will read coherently.

3. The transition is natural.

Appropriate use of related words, prompts or transitional sentences can help us connect sentences. For example, there are two paragraphs in Zhang Zhongxing's "Two or Three Things About Mr. Ye Shengtao":

I obeyed, you're welcome, and did so. However, he did not give up his politeness. For example, if there were one or two places that he thought could be restored, he would come in person and ask me humbly and earnestly if I agreed to restore them. ...But we will discuss it the same way next time. It seems that it is me who should make the decision, not him.

Apart from writing, he was also consistent and generous in his daily interactions. For example, some things that can be regarded as the last chapter...

In these two paragraphs, the correlative word "but" is used to express the transition relationship between sentences, suggestive words such as "for example" and "for example" are used to introduce examples, and "aside from words, in daily interactions, he is also consistent and generous to others." "This transitional sentence connects the previous and the following.
