Su Shi was sitting in the room, and he muttered: This old Ye, I have drunk all the meat and wine. ate up. I was eating Dongpo meat, and you came here again to see how I would punish you. Hi! Kowtow to me and be careful not to trample on my moss. "Ye Shaoweng was waiting impatiently, but no one opened the door, and he was furious. He went to a nearby hotel and bought one tael of meat and two taels of wine, and leaned in front of the door to eat and drink. Visiting the garden is not worth the PPT, part 4: detailed explanation of ancient poems

You should take pity on the green moss on the teeth of your clogs, and the door of the small buckle firewood will not open for a long time.

Sentence analysis: The author of these two sentences did not meet his friends when visiting, and the garden gate was closed, so he could not enter the garden to appreciate the spring flowers. However, the author does not directly write about the absence of the owner, but uses "not open for a long time" to explain that the owner of the garden probably cherishes the moss in the garden and is afraid that the teeth of clogs will leave traces of trampling on it and damage the scenery of the garden.

The garden is full of spring scenery and can't be shut in. A branch of red apricot comes out.

Sentence analysis: In these two sentences, the poet saw a branch of red apricot sticking out of the wall, and started to have novel imagination. He thought of the colorful spring scenery in the garden, and used personification to write a strong sense of spring.

Poetic meaning: It must be that the owner cherishes the moss in the garden and does not want the teeth under the clogs to trample the green moss. (So) I knocked gently on the wood door, but no one came to open it for a long time. The spring scenery in the garden cannot be contained, and a pink apricot blossom has already stretched out from the wall.

Appreciation: The title "Visiting the garden is not worth it" originally means that the purpose of visiting the garden was not achieved. But the poet had feelings from this. "Should pity the clogs and the moss on the teeth" expresses the poet's understanding of others and his feelings of pity and cherishing spring. "Can't shut it down" and "come out of the wall", these simple words not only describe the beautiful spring scenery in the garden, but also describe the vitality of spring and the fullness of spring. Although the owner did not visit, the author's mind has been completely occupied by this touching early spring scenery!
