Import: Yinxu
Yin Ruins, formerly known as "Northern Mongolia", is the ruins of the capital of the late Shang Dynasty in China, located in Anyang City, Henan Province. In the 14th year of Pan Geng, Pan Geng, the 19th monarch of the Shang Dynasty, moved his capital to Beimeng (now Anyang, Henan) and changed the name of "Beimeng" to "Yin".
In the fifteenth year of Pan Geng's reign, the construction of the Yin capital began. From Pan Geng's move to Yin to the fall of Emperor Xin in 1046 BC, it experienced 273 years of rule by 8 generations and 12 kings. Yin has always been the political, economic, cultural and military center of China's late Shang Dynasty.
Activity 1
Invite students to watch the cultural exploration program "National Treasure" produced by CCTV after class to learn about the stories of cultural relics and their value and significance.
Our country is an ancient civilization with a long history and has many precious historical relics and historical sites. What other Chinese cultural heritage do you know? How should we protect them today?
1. When visiting, just look and touch. Do not carve words or paint on trees or ancient walls when visiting tourist attractions.
2. When you see a cultural relic, take it to an appraiser for appraisal and find out its value.
3. If we find cultural relics, we should not resell them. This is a crime and should be handed over to the state.
4. When using immovable cultural relics, you must abide by the principle of not changing the original state of the cultural relics, and be responsible for protecting the safety of the building and its attached cultural relics. Immovable cultural relics must not be damaged, remodeled, added to, or demolished.
5. For buildings and structures that endanger the safety of cultural relics protection units and damage the historical features of cultural relics protection units, the local people's government shall promptly investigate and deal with them, and if necessary, demolish the buildings and structures.
6. The export of cultural relics for exhibition must be reported to the cultural relics administrative department of the State Council for approval; if the number of first-class cultural relics exceeds the number specified by the State Council, it must be reported to the State Council for approval. Orphans and vulnerable items among first-class cultural relics are prohibited from exporting for exhibition.
Activity 2
The pyramid is a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization. There are nearly a hundred pyramids of various sizes along the Nile River. The construction of the pyramid fully proves the height reached by the ancient Egyptians in architecture, mathematics, physics and other aspects.
Activity 3
Discussion: What do you feel from the splendid civilizations created by many countries?
Achievements of ancient civilization:
(1)Olympic ruins
(2) Ancient Roman Colosseum
(3) Palace ruins of the ancient Persian Empire
Ancient human civilizations have made brilliant achievements. Different civilizations do not exist in isolation, but learn from each other. The relics of ancient civilizations are an important way for us to understand the past. They are also the common spiritual and cultural wealth of mankind. We need to cherish, understand and inherit them. Among the early civilizations that interacted with each other, only the Chinese civilization has continued uninterrupted to this day. This is an important source of the cultural confidence of the Chinese nation.
