How Embarrassing!PPT, the third part: Language points

1. remind

Transitive verb, meaning "to remind, to remind, to remind", with a noun or pronoun as object.

remind sb. of sth. means "to remind someone of something."

2. He seemed familiar but I couldn’t remember his name.

Seem means "as if..." and can be followed by an adjective as an predicate.

You can also add an infinitive, a prepositional phrase after seem, or use it with the introductory word it.
