Impatiens is an annual herbaceous flower of the family Impatiens, native to China and India. Impatiens flower stems are 40-100 cm tall.

Why do seeds sometimes fail to germinate even after they are planted?

(3) The seeds become damp, moldy, insect-eaten, or damaged during sowing.

(4) The seeds are left too long beyond the germination period. The time it takes for a seed to fully mature and lose its vitality is the life span of the seed. The seed life of different plants is different. For example, the seed life of wheat and rice is 2 years, while the seed life of water lily can be hundreds of years, and the seed life of Brazilian rubber is only 1 week. The life span of seeds is also related to seed storage conditions. For example, wheat can last up to 10 years in dry and low temperature conditions.

(5) There is something wrong with the seeds themselves, such as not being fertilized and the seeds being harvested when they are immature.
