Part One: Graphic Transformation

What graphic transformations have you learned in elementary school?

Axisymmetric graphics, translation of graphics, rotation of graphics, enlargement and reduction of graphics.

The process of moving an entire graphic a certain distance parallel to a certain straight line is called translation. There are two key points to determine the position of the graphic after translation: one is the direction of translation, and the other is the distance of translation.

The process of rotating a figure by a certain angle clockwise or counterclockwise around a fixed point is called rotation. The key to determining the position of the figure after rotation is three points: one is the fixed point, the other is the direction of rotation, and the third is the angle of rotation.

A figure is folded in half along a straight line (that is, the figure is folded). After folding, if the parts on both sides of the fold completely coincide (that is, the figure is formed by the 180-degree front and back position of the figure along a straight line), the figure is called an axially symmetrical figure. The straight line where the mark is located is called the axis of symmetry.

When enlarging or reducing a figure proportionally, be careful that all parts are enlarged or reduced by the same ratio.
