so...that means "so...that..." and is often used to introduce result adverbial clauses. Common structures are "so + adjective/adverb + that clause" or "so + adjective + a / an + singular countable noun + that clause". like:

He was so young that he couldn’t go to school.

It is so interesting a movie that many people like it very much.

Such...that means "so...that..." and is often used to introduce result adverbial clauses. Common structures are "such + a / an + adjective + singular countable noun + that clause" or "such + adjective + plural countable noun/uncountable noun + that clause". like:

He has such a beautiful watch that we all like it.

It’s such fine weather that we’d like to go for a picnic.

so ... that can sometimes be interchanged with such ... that. like:

1.Mike was so clever a boy that he got the first place in the exam.

=Mike was such a clever boy that he got the first place in the exam.

2.This problem is so difficult that no one can work it out.

=This is such a difficult problem that no one can work it out.
