The singing of Zahndale is generally high-pitched and bright; the songs of Hakumele should be gorgeous and bright; the songs of Uqin should be narrated calmly. Common to all genres is the "slow vibrato singing method", which mostly appears on long tones. This is similar to the "vibrato" in long tones in Peking Opera and the "Erunogu" in long-note Mongolian folk songs. "La" singing style is very similar, but with some emotional coloring of crying.
