Sentence 2: Subjunctive mood contrary to past facts
[Original sentence in textbook]
Mum wouldn’t have been happy if I’d left Jonny behind.

[Sentence analysis]
The above sentence expresses the subjunctive mood that is contrary to past facts. The predicate verb of the main clause uses the would have done structure, and the if conditional sentence uses the past perfect tense.
