Experimental requirements:
(1) Pour a spoonful of glue or shampoo into a glass filled with water and carefully observe how it enters the water and whether it floats or sinks in the water. Record how the glue or shampoo spreads when the cup sits quietly. Record your observations on Lab Sheet 1.
(2) After recording, stir it gently with a small stick. You will see what changes occur in the glue or shampoo. Record the phenomenon you observe on Experiment Sheet 1.
(3) Finally, stir thoroughly with a small stick. Is the glue or shampoo dissolved in the water?
Can vinegar, alcohol and cooking oil dissolve in water?
Put about 10-15 ml of water in each of the three test tubes.
Add 1-2 ml of vinegar, alcohol and cooking oil to the test tube respectively.

Observe and describe the changes in these three substances in water.
