So, how can we adapt to changes and respond intelligently?
1. Accurately judge the other party’s attitude. If the other party is asking a general question, you should give an objective answer; if it is a friendly joke or a sincere apology, you can respond with good-natured humor and self-deprecation; if it is malicious trouble or ridicule, you should choose an appropriate way to give A powerful response.
2. Master certain coping skills. Especially when facing some special occasions, such as international exchanges, answering reporters' questions or other formal exchanges, or encountering some deliberate difficulties, you must pay attention to using certain coping skills. Question 1: Read the following coping cases and briefly analyze and evaluate the coping skills used by these celebrities.
1. When Kong Rong was ten years old, he showed extraordinary intelligence and was praised by people. An official named Chen Wei said disapprovingly in public: "You are smarter when you are young, but you may not be better when you are older." Kong Rong immediately responded: "If you miss me when you are young, you must become a master."
2. A British lady liked Qian Zhongshu's novel "Fortress Besieged" very much, so she called Qian Zhongshu and asked to meet. Qian Zhongshu said to her: "If you feel good after eating an egg, why do you need to know the hen that laid the egg?"
3. A young painter visited the famous German painter Adolf Menzer and complained to him: "I really don't understand why it only takes me a while to paint a painting, but it takes a whole year to sell it." "Please try it upside down," Mencai'er said seriously. "If you spend a year painting it, you can definitely sell it in just one day."
Question 2: In our lives, we often encounter deliberate ridicule from others. Read the situations below and respond wisely.
An American reporter while interviewing Premier Zhou accidentally saw a Parker pen made in the United States on the Prime Minister's desk. The reporter asked in a somewhat sarcastic tone: "Excuse me, Your Excellency, Prime Minister, why do you Chinese people still use our American-made pens?" It was obvious that the reporter's original intention was to ridicule Zhou. Prime Minister: Why can’t you Chinese even produce better pens and still import them from the United States? After hearing this, Premier Zhou said something interesting. When the American reporter heard this, he was immediately speechless and embarrassed.
Faced with the wanton ridicule of American reporters, how did Premier Zhou respond in a witty and calm manner?
It’s a long story to talk about this pen. This was a trophy from a Korean friend who fought against the United States and was given to me as a gift. I received the salary without any merit, so I refused to accept it. My North Korean friend said, keep it as a souvenir. I thought it was meaningful, so I kept this pen from your country.
