Han Yuefu
Yuefu was first established in the Qin Dynasty. It was an institution under the "Shaofu" at that time that specialized in the management of music, dance and singing teaching. In the early Han Dynasty, Yuefu was not preserved. During the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Liu Che, the Yuefu was rebuilt during the ceremonial music ceremony in Dingjiao. Its duty was to collect folk songs or poems by literati to set the music for performance at court sacrifices or banquets. The poems it collected and compiled were later called "Yuefu Poems", or simply "Yuefu Poems". It is a new poetry style following "The Book of Songs" and "Chu Ci". Later, those who did not enter Yue were also called Yuefu or pseudo-Yuefu.
The sunflowers in the green garden are waiting for the morning dew.

In the spring of Budeze, all things will be radiant.
"Yangchun" sentence: Yang means gentleness. Refers to the bounty of nature.
Bu: Giving, giving. Deze: Favor.
Spring brings sunshine and rain to the earth, making all things lively and prosperous.
Part Three: Appreciation of Poetry and Prose
"The sunflowers in the green garden are waiting for the morning dew to dry up." The poet depicts two images of nature: the sunflower tree with green branches and leaves and the dewdrops attached to the sunflower leaves. The vibrant sunflower tree symbolizes the endless life of the universe, but human youth is like the morning dew on the sunflower leaves. Its crystal clearness is so short-lived, and it will all dry up without a trace as soon as the morning sun comes out. The metaphorical image of "Morning Dew Yi" is apt and has resonated with countless poets of later generations.
"Everything is shining in Budeze in spring. I am always afraid that when autumn comes, the yellow flowers and leaves will wither." In these four sentences, the poet still describes two natural scenes: the dazzling scenery of red flowers and luxuriant leaves nurtured by the spring light, and the The autumn air is solemn and the leaves have fallen and the flowers have faded. The growth of vegetation and decline of vegetation is a metaphor for the transformation of human life from black hair to white hair, and its trend is as irresistible as hundreds of rivers flowing eastwards. The question "When will we return to the west?" expresses the poet's deep sigh.
"If a young man does not work hard, he will be sad when he is old." Cherish your youth and work hard to achieve success. This is the pursuit of life that the poet realized. "'Chang Ge Xing' 'Sunflower in the Green Garden' is about establishing a career. It is said: 'There are three immortalities in life: establishing virtue, establishing merit, and establishing words." Because of this, this poem avoids the boring life preaching. , making the final aphorism appear powerful, deep and implicit, like a long bell ringing, deeply touching the readers' hearts. The word "tu" at the end of the sentence has a profound meaning: first, it means that the boss has no success, and life is wasted; second, it means that when you wake up in old age, you will not be able to help, and you can only sigh, which is intended to emphasize that you must work hard in time.
central idea
This is a masterpiece among the ancient Yuefu poems of the Han Dynasty. The poem uses a series of metaphors to illustrate that we should cherish time and work hard early. The first four lines of the poem describe to us a bright spring scene. The green sunflowers in the garden are still covered with dew. After the sun rises, the dew dries up, and the sunflowers are bathed in the sunshine again. Everything in the world is blessed by the rain and dew of nature in spring, and glows with incomparable brilliance. However, when autumn comes, they all lose their bright luster and become withered and yellow. All things undergo ups and downs, and people also undergo a process from youth to old age. Time is like water in a big river, flowing eastward into the sea and never to return. If we don’t cherish time and work hard when we are young and strong, we will only be sad in vain when we grow old!
Creative background
Yuefu is a court music institution established since the Qin Dynasty. In addition to singing the literati's poems praising their virtues to music, it is also responsible for collecting folk songs. It was greatly expanded during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and a large number of poetry works were collected from the people, with rich content and a wide range of themes. This poem is one of the Yuefu poems of the Han Dynasty. Long singing refers to a free style singing style with the tune of "long singing".
This poem uses scenery to convey emotions and emotions to reason. The profound philosophy of life is embodied in the vivid images. The organic combination of painting, lyricism, and reasoning makes this philosophical poem both thought-provoking and not boring and abstract. , has intriguing artistic power.
