Usage of many and much

Many and much both mean "many". But many modifies countable nouns, and much modifies uncountable nouns. Both many and much can be replaced by a lot of, but a lot of is generally used in affirmative sentences. like:

There are many people in the park during the holiday.

There is much milk and juice in the fridge.

Usage of too many and too much

Too many and too much express emphasis and mean "too much". The usage is basically the same as many and much, except that too much can be used as a blessing phrase to modify verbs. like:

I eat too much, so I don’t feel good. (modifies the verb eat)

There is too much bread on the table. (modifies the noun bread)

I’m very busy today, because I have too many things to do. (modifies noun things)
