This is a story from the Anti-Japanese War. In Longmen Village, the North China Anti-Japanese Base Area, there lived a father and son named Zhao. His father, Lao Zhao, was the captain of the militia squadron, and his 12-year-old son Haiwa was the leader of the Children's Corps. One day, his father got news that the Japs were going into the mountains to rob food, so he asked Haiwa to send a chicken-feather letter to the Eighth Route Army about attacking the enemy's artillery towers. Haiwa used herding sheep as a cover to carry the letter on the road. Unexpectedly, encountering Japanese soldiers on the way, Haiwa was quick to think and hid the letter under the big tail of the sheep. The Japanese robbed Haiwa of his sheep and forced him to lead the way to Longmen Village. At night, Haiwa took the letter and escaped while the enemy was sleeping. On the way, Xin was once lost and recovered, but Haiwa was caught by the enemy again. The clever and brave Haiwa deliberately led the enemy astray. Only then did the enemy realize that he had fallen into the trap and drew his gun and wounded Haiwa's hand. At the critical moment, the Eighth Route Army came to the rescue and wiped out all the enemy soldiers. Haiwa fainted after completing the mission of delivering the letter. Based on the information provided in the letter, the Eighth Route Army blew up the enemy's artillery tower and captured Commander Maoyan alive.

The red scarf is triangular

At a meeting to accept new team members, an advanced female worker who came to the meeting took off her red triangle headscarf and tied it around the necks of the young pioneers, encouraging them: "Wear it, don't tarnish it!
