Helvetica is a popular sans-serif font family jointly designed by Swiss type designers Max Miedinger and Eduard Hoffmann in 1957. It was originally called "Neue Haas Grotesk", but was later changed to its now well-known name, Helvetica, in order to promote it more easily in the international market, which is derived from "Helvetia", the Latin name for Switzerland. Known for its clarity, simplicity and legibility, Della Helvetica is suitable for a variety of printing and display media.
