Experimental methods and precautions:

(1) We number the two gears as No. 1 and No. 2, No. 1 is the driving wheel (power output), and No. 2 is the driven wheel (power receiving).

(2) When wheel No. 1 is turned, what happens to the rotation of wheel No. 2?

(3) Team members divide work reasonably, operate, observe, record and report.

The function of the bicycle transmission system is to change the speed of the vehicle by changing the cooperation between the chain and the gear plates of different front and rear sizes. The size of the front gear plate and the size of the rear gear plate determine how hard the bicycle pedals are turned. The larger the front gear plate and the smaller the rear gear plate, the faster the vehicle speed and the harder it feels when pedaling. They are mostly used on flat roads or downhill roads. The smaller the front gear plate and the larger the rear gear plate, the slower the vehicle speed and the easier it feels when pedaling. It is mostly used on uphill roads.
