Such is used as an adjective, meaning "so, so", and generally modifies nouns (phrases). For example:

2. One is Sandra and the other is Mary. One is Sandra and the other is Mary.

the other means "the other", it specifically refers to the other of the two.

Use "another" to express three or more people. For example:

She has two sisters. One is a teacher and the other is a nurse.

I have a lot of toys, but I’m going to buy another one.

I have a lot of toys, but I'm planning to buy another one.

the other+ plural noun =the others means all the other people or things. For example:

Only ten students are in the classroom. Where are the others?

There are only ten students in the classroom, where are the other students?

3. You always like to make new friends.

to make friends (with) means "(to make friends with...)".

Make friends is a transient verb phrase, if it is connected with a period of time

If used, it needs to become be friends. For example:

It’s easy to make friends with kids.

Making friends with children is easy.

We have been friends for ten years.

We have been friends for ten years.
