I’m really afraid of going to the dentist. I’m really afraid of going to the dentist.

be afraid of means "fear...", followed by a noun, pronoun, and gerund as the object of the preposition of.

Example: ①My little sister is afraid of cats. My little sister is afraid of cats.

②Tony is afraid of coming out at night. Tony is afraid of coming out at night.

be afraid to do...meaning "to be afraid of doing something";

You can also add an object clause after be afraid, meaning "I'm afraid...".

eg. ①Danny is afraid to stay at home alone. Danny is afraid to stay at home alone.

②We are afraid that we can’t finish all the work today. We are afraid that we can’t finish all the work today.

I had no choice but to go with her. I had no choice but to go with her.

have no choice but to do... means "I have no choice but to do...". Note that the verb after but should be in the infinitive form.

eg. They had no other choice but to work hard. They had no other choice but to work hard.
