Part One: Review Import

Ask four students to observe from four directions: front, back, left, and right.

How many faces have you seen at most?

In conclusion:

a. The same person standing in different positions and observing objects may not necessarily see the same plane graphics.

b. Different people standing in the same position observe the same plane figure

c. The method of observing an object from above is the same as the method of observing an object from the front, back, left, and right, both of which are to look directly at the surface of the object to be observed.

Guess: What kind of three-dimensional figure might it be?

a. Probably a cube, since each face of a cube is a square.

b. It may also be a cuboid with two square faces.

In conclusion:

Only seeing one side of an object cannot determine the shape of the three-dimensional figure.
