Description
"Singing the Goose" PPT
Part One: Introduction of New Course
King Luo Bin
King Luo Bin (about 619-about 687), and "New Notes on Three Hundred Tang Poems" records that he was born in 640 AD and his death date was ominous. Luo Binwang, courtesy name Guangzhou, was a native of Yiwu, Wuzhou (now Yiwu, Zhejiang, China). He was a poet in the early Tang Dynasty. He was known as the Four Heroes of the Early Tang Dynasty together with Wang Bo, Yang Jiong, and Lu Zhaolin, and was also known as "Fu Luo" together with Fu Jiamo. King Luo Bin was able to write at the age of seven, and he was especially good at five-character poems. He tried to compose the "Emperor Capital Chapter", which he thought was his masterpiece at the time. "Collected Works of King Luo Bin" is left behind.
At first he was a subordinate of the Dao Prince's Mansion, and he was the chief clerk of martial arts, and then he was transferred to the chief clerk of Chang'an. When Xu Jingye launched an army to attack Wu Zetian, King Luo Bin wrote "An Apology to Wu Zetian" on his behalf. The appeal lists Empress Wu's crimes and is very touching. When Empress Wu read the two sentences "One foot of soil is not yet dry, six feet of it is left alone", she was extremely shocked and asked the prime minister why he didn't reuse this person earlier. After Xu Jingye's defeat, King Luo Bin's whereabouts are unknown. It may be that he was killed by the rebel army, or that he escaped into Buddhism.
This ancient poem depicts the goose's expression when swimming and playing in the water very vividly from the perspective of a seven-year-old child.
The poem has four lines in total. The first two lines describe the scene of the goose when it crows, and the last two lines describe the scene of the goose swimming and playing in the water, expressing the author's love for the goose.
