Description
"Blood Circulation" PPT
The first part: self-study introduction
In daily life, people will bleed due to trauma, such as scratching the skin, oozing out a small amount of blood, or in severe cases, dark red blood slowly flowing out. However, some serious accidents will cause the wound to spurt out bright red blood. This Why?
learning target
1. Be able to distinguish between arteries, veins and capillaries, and explain the functions of different types of blood vessels and their structural characteristics suitable for their functions.
2. Be able to describe the structure and function of the heart, and explain the characteristics of the heart and its functions.
3. Be able to outline the physiological characteristics of the heart.
Blood circulation PPT, part 2 content: course exploration
Explore theme one
Pipes for blood circulation - blood vessels
1. Arteries: Blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to all parts of the body.
Features: Thick pipe wall and high elasticity
Fast blood flow in the tube
Mostly distributed in deeper parts of the body
Use your fingers to press on the inside of the radius of your wrist
You will feel a pulsation, which is the pulsation of the radial artery.
2. Veins: Blood vessels that carry blood from all parts of the body back to the heart.
Features: Thin wall, low elasticity, large lumen
Slow blood flow in the tube
There are venous valves in the veins of the limbs
3. Capillaries: blood vessels that connect the smallest arteries and veins.
Features: Large quantity, wide distribution, small diameter, almost only allowing red blood cells to pass through in a single file. The tube wall is thin and consists of only one layer of epithelial cells. The blood flow rate in the tube is the slowest, which facilitates sufficient material exchange between blood and tissue cells.
Explore theme two
The heart, the power organ of blood transport
(1) Structure of the heart
1. Location: Located in the middle of the chest, lower left, between the two lungs, shaped like a peach, about the size of a person’s fist.
Observe the structure of the heart
⒈Put the fresh heart of the animal into the dissecting dish. First observe the shape of the heart, determine the dorsal and ventral surfaces of the heart, and identify each part of the heart; pinch the atrial wall and ventricular wall with your hands to feel the thickness of the atrial wall and ventricular wall.
⒉ Refer to the heart anatomy diagram in the textbook and observe the internal structure of the dissected heart. Pay special attention to observation and identification: whether the four chambers of the heart and the two atria are connected, whether the two ventricles are connected, and identify the large blood vessels connected to the heart.
⒊Choose a large blood vessel connected to the heart and inject water into it, and observe the location where the water flows out. Select another blood vessel and repeat the above process.
2. Morphological structure
3. Heart function
The heart is the power organ of blood circulation.
The rhythmic contraction and relaxation of the myocardium form the beating of the heart. The myocardium contracts to push blood into the arteries and flows throughout the body; the myocardium relaxes and blood flows back to the heart through the veins.
Characteristics of the Adaptation of Heart Structure and Function
1. The heart wall is composed of myocardium, which can produce regular contraction and relaxation.
2. The ventricular wall is thicker than the atrium wall, and the left ventricular wall is thicker than the right ventricle, which can generate greater power to pump blood out.
3. Atrioventricular valves and arterial valves prevent blood from flowing back.
4.Heart rate
Definition: The number of times the heart beats per minute.
Influencing factors: age, gender and health status.
The average heart rate of an adult at rest is 75 beats/minute.
Blood circulation PPT, part three: training to meet standards
1. In blood circulation, the reason why blood can be ensured to flow in a certain direction without flowing backward is ( )
A. The inertial effect of blood
B. The role of valves in the heart and blood vessels
C. The elasticity of blood vessel walls
D. The results of cardiac systole and diastole
2. Among the following blood vessels, the one with the fastest flow rate is ( )
A. Artery B. Vein C. Capillary D. Unable to determine
3. Every second of your life, your heart keeps your blood circulating. Please answer the questions based on the picture.
(1) The heart is mainly composed of ______ tissue.
(2) Among the four chambers of the heart, the thickest one is _________, which pumps blood throughout the body.
(3) There are valves between the atria and ventricles, which ensure the flow of blood in the heart ( )
A. Left atrium → left ventricle B. left ventricle → left atrium
C. Left atrium→right atrium D. left atrium→right ventricle
