A cube with an edge length of 1 cm has a volume of 1 cubic centimeter, which is recorded as 1 centimeter³ (cm³);

A cube with an edge length of 1 decimeter has a volume of 1 cubic decimeter, which is recorded as 1 decimeter³ (dm³);

A cube with an edge length of 1 meter has a volume of 1 cubic meter, which is recorded as 1 meter³ (m³).
