Description
"Song of Seven Sons" PPT courseware
The regional flag of the Macau Special Administrative Region is a green flag with five-star, lotus, bridge and sea water patterns.
Among them, the five stars represent a unified China; the three budding white lotuses symbolize the Macao SAR as an auspicious place composed of three islands; and the green color represents the motherland.
After the founding of New China, in order to regain Macao, the Chinese government and the Portuguese government conducted many negotiations. On April 13, 1987, the "Joint Statement on the Macao Issue" was signed. On December 20, 1999, the Chinese government officially resumed control of Macao. Macao has exercised sovereignty and Macao has finally returned to the embrace of the motherland.
"Song of the Seven Sons—Macao" is a single-two-part song. The melody of the first section (measures 1 to 9) is relatively stable. The third phrase (measures 5 and 6) is a variation and repetition of the first phrase. Here, a small climax of this section is formed, as if a child who has lost his mother is sincerely confiding to his missing mother. There is a big jump of six degrees at the beginning of the second section (after the 11th measure), and the melody of the first section mostly revolves in the high-pitched area. Coupled with the strong processing requirements, it seems to be shouting and expressing something. A strong feeling of longing to return to the motherland. The second phrase is a repetition with slight variations. It further intensifies this sentiment. The last phrase is affectionate and affirmative, clearly expressing the desire to return.
