2. How to draw corners

First select a point and then use a ruler to draw two straight lines in different directions.

Experimental results:

The size of an angle has nothing to do with the length of its sides, but is related to the degree to which the two sides of the angle are separated. The wider the two sides of the angle are spread apart, the larger the angle is. The smaller the two sides are spread apart, the smaller the angle.

1. Talk about which objects around you have angles on their surfaces.

Blackboard, ruler, table...

2. Follow the method in Example 2 and draw a corner yourself.

3. Point to where there are horns.

4. Which of the following figures are angles and which are not angles?

1 and 3 are angles, 2 and 4 are not angles.

5. How many angles are there in each of the figures below?

6. Open the folding fan and see what changes happen to the corners.
