When we carry water, we feel the downward pull of the bucket on our hands; when we carry a schoolbag, we feel the downward pressure of the schoolbag on our shoulders. Objects all experience a downward force, which is gravity.

Let's do an experiment to test the conjecture.

1. Mark the starting point and end point of the car's movement. Each experiment must start from the starting point and end at the end point.

2. Start by hanging one washer, and add washers one by one until the car can move.

3. Add more washers and observe and record how the movement of the car changes.

What did you discover through the experiment?

If the pulling force is too small, the car will not move;

When the pulling force reaches a certain level, the car starts to move;

The greater the pulling force, the faster the car moves.
