Ba Jin, a famous writer, was originally named Li Fugan. Born in 1904 in Chengdu, Sichuan. He went to France to study in 1927 and returned to China at the end of 1928. In January 1927, Ba Jin took a boat from Shanghai to study in Paris. He compiled his journey into 39 chapters of "Miscellaneous Notes on a Traveling at Sea", and "Sunrise on the Sea" was the 23rd chapter.
