so is an adverb, which can be followed by an adjective or adverb; that is a conjunction, which can be followed by an adverbial clause of result. Similar structures to so, that, are: such, that. The two have the same meaning, but the difference is that such is followed by a noun.

so, that, adverbial clauses leading to result, can be converted into synonyms with too, to, or "not+descriptive+enough to do sth."
