Ⅱ. Position: The if clause can be placed before or after the main clause.

If you ever go to London, make sure you visit the Science Museum.

If you go to London, be sure to visit the Science Museum.

This sentence can be rewritten as:

Make sure you visit the Science Museum if you ever go to London.

Ⅲ. Usage: The structure of "if clause + imperative sentence" is used to express suggestions.

For example:

If the other person is sick and you suggest that he see a doctor, you can say:

If you do not feel well, please go to see the doctor.

If you don't feel well, go see a doctor.
