Grammar exploration

(1) Concept

Numerals are words that express number and order. Numerals can be divided into cardinal numerals and ordinal numerals.

(2) Composition

1. The cardinal numbers from 1 to 12 are independent words with their own forms, namely one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.

2. The cardinal words from 13 to 19 end with ________, and the last syllable of the word is stressed, such as: thirty, fourteen, fifteen.

3. Cardinal numeral words of 20 and above all end with ________, and the first syllable of the word is stressed. Such as: twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety.
